My time in North Carolina is finally over. I spent much more time than originally expected, but surprisingly I enjoyed it much more than I would have imagined. The company was great since my sis and I get along well, besides my random temper tantroms, but I thought I would get tired of NC, but I didn't. As my sis puts it, it was more like a "retreat. I spent the most of the day alone without a car or tv. I found ways to keep busy and stay productive until  she got off of work tn we would go out for the evenings to get me out of the house, whether it be going to dinner, meeting up with friends, or shopping for the new apartment, anything we did was so much fun. I was relaxed even though I had little things to stress about. Overall I really enjoyed my time in NC and think I will use it as an escape from the city life of Manhattan.

 

Sidenote: We wanted to go out for dinner one evening at 7:30PM and couldnt find anything open besides a FEW fast food places and a diner...and yes a few, not all the fast food chains were open. Only in Durham, NC is this possible....well maybe other no name cities, but I havent quite made my way to those yet, and I doubt I ever will!

 

Also, I got sooo lucky with the flight thing. So glad I flew on Wednesday and not Thursday. Both my flights were delayed, and I think it was cuz of the whole London thing that went down on Wed. Hope its settled down in 2 weeks cuz I gotta get back on a plane....arg!
